If you would like to be a part of our church’s ministry, consider
participating in the Prayer Chain. It does not require a lot of time, just a willing heart to
pray for the needs of others.
Why
be part of the prayer chain? Prayer is a powerful, active response to the needs in
people’s lives. It is a means of surrounding others with love and hope during times of fear
and despair.
How does the prayer chain work?
Requests can be concerns for family, friends or members of the congregation. When
received, the requests are communicated to the Pastors, Lay Leader, and the Prayer Chain
Coordinator. The coordinator contacts two people on the list who then contact other people, and the prayer requests filter to many people in a short period of time.
Do I have to attend meetings or be home full
time?
No! Meetings are not required. The only request is a reliable phone number where
you can be reached.
