Our Annual Tuesday Evening Community Lenten Worship series begins on Tuesday,

February 23^rd.  Worship will be at 7:30 at one of the several churches in the village of

Mamaroneck.  Following worship there will be a fellowship time.  It is a wonderful

opportunity to meet Christians from other churches in our area.  Here is the schedule for

this “movable feast” of worship, singing, preaching and refreshments:                                      

        February 23:  St Thomas Episcopal Church, Reverend James Taylor preaching

        March 2:     Mamaroneck United Methodist Church, Msgr. James White preaching

        March 9:     First Baptist Church, Reverend Anne Kersey preaching    

        March 16:   AME Zion Church, Reverend Richard Allen preaching

• Eleventh Annual Lollipop Fair - Saturday, TBA (11am - 5pm).  Fun, food, rides for kids young and old.

• Sunday School and Youth Group Registration - TBA

• Blessing of the Animals Service - Sunday, September 26th (6pm).  Bring your animal friends and "family members" for an enjoyable blessing for yourself and them.

• Weekly Prayer Service - Every Monday night (7:00pm - 8:30pm) at the Church House Conference Room.  For information or request prayers for yourself or others, speak to Karen Amrhein or one of the pastors.  You may also request prayers using the forms in the pews and placing them in the offering plate at worship.

December 2010                                                                                                          

• The Season of Advent Worship Schedule - November 28 - December 24.  Join us in preparing for God's graceful presence, especially at these times.  Click here to view schedule of worship and devotion.

• Midnight Run -  We depart from the church at 9pm and usually return around 2am.  Donations of coats, jackets, sweaters, shirts, tee-shirts, shoes, sneakers and new under-wear and socks will be appreciated.  Contact Bruce Meighan 914-420-9570 (cell) or 914-833-3539 (home) for more information

• RED CHAIR project -   Volunteers are needed on Thursday and Friday for packing and cleaning the house.  Volunteers on Saturday and Sunday for painting and cleaning.

• Christmas Gift Bags - Will be collected .  Bring cheer to 52 three and four year olds at the Mamaroneck Child Development Center.  Each bag should contain:

1 package of 8 washable markers

1 package of 16 or 24 crayons

1 package of construction paper (8" x 12" only please)

1 package or tablet of drawing/scribble paper (8" x 12" only please)

several sheets of  stickers

2 glue sticks

1 book appropriate for 3 or 4 year-old
