• Wednesday Lenter Vespers

  Beginning Feb 28 at 7:30pm, a time for quiet reflection on our own calling to love God and our neighbors as we continue to ponder God's unfailing love in Christ.

• Ash Wednesday Worship

  Feb 21 at 7:30pm, opening the season of Lent, itself an extended meditation on Christ's love for us in the circumstances of his sacrificial and triumphant love in his death and resurrection.

• Nicaragua Mission Trip

  Feb 16 thru 23, Keep the people of Nicaragua and our 17 member team in your prayers as they travel to extend the love of Christ to our neighbors in Central America.

   

• Valentine Worship

  Feb 14 at 6:45pm, especially designed for husbands and wives.  A brief communion service prior to your own Valentine dinner.

   

• Adult Forum

  Sunday, Feb 11 thru Mar at 11:30am, "We Give Up": Christianity, Poverty, and Making a difference," a look at issues of poverty, abundance, and Christian love in response to other's needs and our own blessings.

   

• Confirmation Class (7th & 8th graders)

  Sunday, Feb 11 at 3:30pm, information session for parents.

  Beginning Sunday, Feb 25 at 3:00pm, the class will prepare youth for making a decision to follow the way of Christ, the way of love.

  January 28 - February 11, 2007, Our High School Group is running a great "clear the landmines" awareness and fundraising program over the next few weeks.  They are working with a UN program.  Read more>>

• Holiday Craft Fair

  On Saturday, December 2 from 10am - 3pm.  The SewNSo's will be selling beautiful handknit and sewn items and holiday decorations, and various artisans from the community and from the Mamaroneck Artist's Guild will be selling their crafts.

• All Saints' Sunday and Dedication of the Memorial Garden

  On November 5, come help remember the faithful members of MUMC who have died in the past year, and celebrate the lives of friends and family who now rest from their earthly labors.  We will also dedicate the newly completed Memorial Garden between the church and the parsonage.

• Women's Retreat

Calling All Women!!!

You are invited you to a women's spiritual retreat on October 13, 14 & 15. We have booked an entire small inn at Ocean Grove, NJ for the weekend and will be hosting a well-known singer/comedian/speaker, Kelita (www.kelita.com) to talk with us about life, relationships, balance, and our own reinvention!  Please RSVP to the church office (698-4343) ASAP as space is limited.

• KIDZ 4 KIDZ Father's Day BBQ Fundraiser

On Sunday June 18, our Youth Group organized a barbecue fund raiser for Blythedale Children's Hospital in Valhalla, New York.  The event was a huge success and raised double the amount expected.

• Farewell to our Pastor: Rev. Javier A. Viera

  On Sunday June 11 we said good-bye to our beloved Pastor Javier and his family.  Javier will undertake the role of Minister for Outreach and Development at Christ Church, New York City.  A Farewell Feast followed the Sunday Service where we had an opportunity to send them out from among us filled with our love, good wishes, and good food.
